Sugarcane
These sugarcane products can replace styrofoam, paper, and plasic. They can be used for hot and cold liquids/solids, are non-transferring, and soakproof. I left water inside a cup on my counter for more than 3 weeks, adding water as it evaporated. It never leaked, just started to mold after the 22nd day.
They are a one time use item. You can microwave, and refrigerate them too. Sugarcane is from the grass family. It is a sub-family along with the corn that is naturally gluten free, and is a much more renewable resource than traditional wood. Think of how quickly grass grows.
